Spirit recognizes spirit. That formless in one spontaneously recognizes the formless in another form. When a person is luminous with Grace, a person luminous with Grace discerns that automatically: the Light is self-evident, no distance between Light and recognition of Light. A meeting occurs, a communion arises of subject-with-subject, and it leaves a perfume of Gladness and Fulfillment. Kindness here is not merely an emotion. This kindness is the benevolence and incandescence of Presence.

I was taught much about fellowship when young. "Fellowship" was an important word in the Christian church my family worshipped with. No one ever told me fellowship with others begins with myself. I went outside myself to find this intimacy. But it is true, it does begin within oneself. In intimacy with your own heart, you can be intimate with anyone, anything.
